Orcs: The Journey to Epic Mountain

All you Orcs players have been super supportive the last months and I love to update that game with new features and quests. So right now I work on Epic Mountain which is planned to be the final destination to finally conquer the island. This is a first look on how the area will look like.

Orcs Barbarian Update

It’s Orc Friday!
The new Version will be live in 3 hours.
(Google Play and Amazon Appstore Version first, iPhone 7 days later)

Quests:
+3 New Quests where you can test your new Sword.

Features:
+The Warrior Ability Shield Slam is now Shield Throw and will hit all enemies in front with a random amount of hits.
+You can now tweet about the game to give it more chances to become big.

Orcs Update 3.2 is live

New Quest:
+New BOSS Quest: Fight the new Human Boss in the Temple

New Features:
+New epic Warrior Sword
Every 20 seconds it will charge up and unleash 3 rapid strikes on your next attack.

Tweaks:
+Battle Graphics: Successfully blocking an Attack will now shake the screen mildly.

What’s New:

New Features:
+Orc Houses are here! Increasing your Warriors Meat storage.
+One Flow! You can now switch between building screens without any loading time.
+4th Building screen added (under construction)

New Quest:
+1 New Quest: Into the mysterious Temple.

Orcs Update 2.5 is live!

It’s Orc Friday!
The new update is now live on Google play and the Amazon Appstore. (iOS 7 days later)

What’s new?

Quests:
+2 New Quest: Riding that doggy

Features:
+ Timber Mill added to the conquered Human Farm
Hard working Orcs cut and stock wood for you over time, so be sure to collect it before its maximum limit.
+ Riding Gameplay added for Quests
+ New Construction Screen added (in construction!), it unlocks after defeating Gregor the Human King

Tweaks:
+ Advertising Pop up’s no longer appear during tree chopping
+ Advertising Frequency increased

In a lot of ways I see a great potential for Orcs to be a fun game play in 10 to 15 minutes doses

Noobsource Review:
„The mechanics are familiar to other cookie clicker style apps such as Make It Rain, but there some features that seem to set it apart, if slightly. You can build a fortress to hire warriors to send on a quest when you have enough wood to build a quest tower.“

„So, is orcs a game you should play? Well if Make it Rain is your kind of game, this is worth a shot. After speaking with David, there are new features coming in the next few weeks to provide some much needed motivation to keep playing such as raiding human settlements to prevent them from tearing down yours. „
