Lets go multiplayer mode in one day.. Crazy AI times

Only an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) for now, but it already features fully functional multiplayer and proximity voice chat through Vivox.

Vibe coding my own Unity game for a while now. I’m using AI for almost everything (except the main characters).

Today, Codex and Unity MCP built an entire multiplayer system for this location in my VR game. Players automatically join rooms with up to 10 players, and once a room is full, a new one is created.

It’s player-hosted with host migration and synchronizes each VR headset to an orc’s head, while hand-tracking position and rotation are mapped to the orc’s cube hands. It also displays each player’s name and score.

I’ve had this system in my head for about a month. Today, I finally prompted i and by the end of the day, it was fully functional.

We’re living in crazy times.

Orcs X2: Navigate the Storm in VR

Make unity 3d profitable

Posted this 1 month ago into the unity forum hasn’t get much feedback / resonance.
This would require some development investment but would pay of tenfold, they could also buy a company like xsolla to speed that up. See the details in the image below or press the link to the forum post.

But their profits would increase dramatically with the current bear market and their stock beeing down to 48$ this is a huge wasted opportunity for them.
I would love to see them rise again and ever far beyond their current all time high.

Here the idea:

Specially for industries which currently do NOT have their own stores, like for example the health sector, this would enable them to also use in app purchases which currently they can’t.

Working on shaders and the core game mechanic

I carved some sand details into the ground. Added a blob shadow for the palm.
The shield and axe now uses the metalic and smoothness property of its shader.
The shader for the palm, ship and the player has now more emissive power.
The UI for chopping has its first draft but Sebastian Irmer makes us some nicer wooden board soon. Chopping levels up a multiplier on the base weapon damage on the tree.

Update 1.2.64: A new friend!

+4 new quests: Boss fight doggy, skeleton repeatable and two more.
+1 new squad member: The doggy, he deals slow but strong damage.
+1 new house: Doggy home, upgrade it frequently to gain more wood overall.
+2 new forgeable items: Spear Upgrades and Doggy Snout Armor
+3 new chat badges for the top ranks 100, 50 and 10!
+Chat channels: There are now country specific chat channels which you can enter.
+2 new languages: Chinese, Turkish
